👉 Are you a visual artist?
Inside Gaukurinn there is a setup to showcase photographs or other artwork. Right now there is an exhibition by Italian model and artist Agatha Hunt, but soon we would like to set up a new exhibition. Before Agatha's work we have had showcases of photographs focusing on the glorious drag and metal scenes in Iceland - but we are open for any kind of ideas!
The setup is 8 frames with lights inside, hanging from the ceiling, so there can be one picture on each side - 16 pictures in total. Size is 23 x 23 cm.
The exhibition would ideally hang for around 3 months, but that is totally up for discussion. We don't charge anything for this, we just want to showcase cool artwork by cool artists.
